The Burbank High School varsity boys’ volleyball team swept visiting Crescenta Valley High of La Crescenta, 25-16, 26-24, 26-24, in a Pacific League match on March 14. Individual player statistics were not reported to the Leader.
Burbank (2-7 overall, 1-2 in league) will visit Maranatha High in Pasadena for a nonleague match on March 26 at 4 p.m. before hosting Pasadena on March 27.
BURROUGHS
The Bears defeated host Pasadena in four games, 25-18, 25-22, 20-25, 25-13, in a Pacific League match on March 14. Noah Duffield registered 14 kills, while Benji Ly finished with 13 kills.
The Bears (7-5, 2-1) will visit Glendale for a league match on March 27 at 3:45 p.m. before traveling to Crescenta Valley High in La Crescenta on March 29.
