The Burroughs High School varsity boys’ volleyball team was swept at South High in Torrance, 3-0, in its CIF-Southern Section Division II first-round opener last Thursday.
Individual set scores and player statistics were not reported to the Burbank Leader.
The Bears finished the season tied for second in the Pacific League with a 7-3 record (12-12 overall).
