Elevate Burbank Holds Multicultural Arts Festival

Elevate Burbank, a local nonprofit dedicated to promoting the understanding of cultural diversity in Burbank, is hosting its second annual Multicultural Arts Festival today, May 6. The event, located at 2400 Empire Ave. from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., is free to the public.

The festival is featuring local performers, artists and musicians, including Alexis Rose R&B, Cleary Irish Dancers, Guitar Ninjas, NashBerry Family Band, Shotty and more. The festival will also include an art show, food trucks, a kids’ area and select local vendors and nonprofit organizations sharing resources for the community.

The event is sponsored by state Sen. Anthony Portantino, MSG Sphere Studios, Ocean Path, Belmont Village Senior Living, SoCalGas and Christopher Rizzotti.

“Elevate Burbank is honored to host our second annual Multicultural Arts Festival for the community. Our organization is committed to elevating diverse voices through performance, food and art,” said Linda Bessin, founder and board president of Elevate Burbank. “We hope this event brings folks together to celebrate the rich diversity of our beloved Burbank.”
