Bears Remain Unbeaten With Win Over CV

The Burroughs High School varsity softball team defeated visiting Crescenta Valley High of La Crescenta, 6-4, on Tuesday to remain unbeaten in Pacific League action.
Senior Stevie Dabbadie, who had a hit, three RBIs and a run, pitched a complete game with nine strikeouts, three hits and three walks to earn the win. Senior Lilly Lewis went 3-for-3 with a run scored, senior Rachel Little went 2-for-4 with a run, sophomore Chloe Centeno went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run, and junior Gizelle Rangsiyawong went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI. Junior Alyssa Rosales tallied a hit and an RBI while juniors Phoebe Spangler and Eliza Torres each recorded a base hit.
The Bears (12-2 overall, 4-0 in league) will visit Dos Pueblos High in Goleta for a nonleague doubleheader Saturday at 10 a.m. before hosting Arcadia on April 11.

BURBANK

The Bulldogs blanked visiting Glendale, 10-0, in a Pacific League game on Tuesday. Burbank previously picked up a narrow 2-1 nonleague victory at El Camino Real High in Woodland Hills. Individual statistics were not reported to the Burbank Leader by the Burbank coaching staff.
The Bulldogs (9-4 overall, 3-1 in league) will visit Notre Dame High in Riverside for a nonleague game on Monday, April 3, at 3:30 p.m. before visiting Royal High in Simi Valley on April 5.
