The Burroughs High School varsity boys’ volleyball team swept host Glendale, 25-17, 25-21, 25-19, in a Pacific League match on March 27.
Caiden Shrode racked up 28 assists and seven digs, Charlie Gerard and Noah Duffield each finished with 11 kills, and Nathan Kameya contributed seven digs.
Burroughs (8-5 overall, 3-1 in league) will host South Pasadena for a nonleague match on April 2 at 3:45 p.m. before hosting Burbank on April 5.
BURBANK
The Bulldogs lost to visiting Pasadena in five games, 25-23, 26-24, 14-25, 20-25, 8-15, in a Pacific League match on March 27. Burbank swept host Maranatha High in Pasadena, 25-13, 25-23, 25-20, in a nonleague match on March 26. Individual statistics were not reported to the Leader.
Burbank (3-8, 1-3) will host Alhambra for a nonleague match on April 2 at 3:45 p.m. before visiting Burroughs High in Burbank on April 5.
