The Burroughs High School varsity girls’ water polo team posted a narrow 8-7 victory over visiting South Pasadena in its season opener on Nov. 14. Individual statistics were not reported to the Burbank Leader.
The Bears (1-0 overall) will visit Sherman Oaks Notre Dame for a nonleague game on Nov. 28 at 4 p.m. before hosting Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy of La Cañada Flintridge on Dec. 5.
BURBANK
The Bulldogs opens the season at Flintridge Prep in La Cañada Flintridge on Dec. 5 at 3:30 p.m. Burbank will then visit Marymount High in Los Angeles for a nonleague game on Dec. 8.
