A man allegedly violated a court-ordered restraining order by entering the property of the person who had taken out a restraining order against him in the 1300 block of North Frederic Street at about 2 a.m. on Oct. 17. He was subsequently arrested for violating the court order. A search of the man uncovered what police suspected to be methamphetamine on his person.

Police arrested a man after he allegedly struck a victim with an open hand, unprovoked, on the face while inside a restaurant in the 200 block of N. 1st Street at 12:28 p.m. on Oct. 20. Officers located the suspect who allegedly resisted arrest and bit an arresting officer. Officers found drugs on the suspect’s person during a search. The man was arrested for assault and resisting arrest.

A man was arrested after causing a disturbance at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center at 7:29 p.m. on Oct. 21. He allegedly threatened hospital staff and was arrested for death threats. The man also allegedly kicked and damaged a patrol vehicle. He was placed on $50,000 bail.
