Burbank Police Department Crime Log

Police were contacted by a victim regarding a vehicle that followed them from a Bank of America after withdrawing currency. The suspected vehicle was located near Chestnut Street and Victory Boulevard at 5:15 p.m. on Sept. 18. Two suspects were arrested for conspiracy and attempted burglary. Officers recovered a large amount of currency and burglary tools during the arrest. The suspects were placed on $20,000 bail each.

Officers were called to a location in the 100 block of Keystone Street regarding a disturbance between a man and a woman at about 6 p.m. on Sept. 16. During the investigation, the officers were flagged down by an apartment employee saying the subjects attempted to fraudulently rent an apartment. Officers located stolen mail, stolen IDs, and narcotics in their possession. Both subjects had “no bail” warrants. They were arrested for identity theft and placed on $50,000 bail each.

A man allegedly contacted police to report someone in his apartment in the 300 block of Alameda Avenue was pointing a gun at him at about 5 a.m. on Sept. 12. Officers responded to the scene and determined the man was hallucinating. They observed a glass pipe in plain view and subsequently arrested the man for drug possession.
