Burbank Police Department Crime Log

A woman told police that her ex-boyfriend tried entering a residence where she was staying. According to the victim, the man attempted to gain access through the back door and pried open a screen to the rear of a secured backyard in the 1800 block of Kenwood Street at 2:50 a.m. on Aug. 28. He was arrested for attempted residential burglary and was placed on $50,000 bail.

Police were called after a man allegedly attempted to break into a residence through the front window of a home in the 700 block of San Fernando Boulevard at 5:50 a.m. on Aug. 15. The victim told police the man climbed up a palm tree onto another residence’s balcony in an attempt to enter the home. He was booked for burglary and placed on $50,000 bail.

A man was arrested after allegedly taking a fighting stance with a police officer on 3rd Street and Palm Avenue at 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 22. Witnesses said that the man threatened to kill the officer. He was booked for disturbing the peace, threats of violence and resisting arrest. He was placed on $25,000 bail.
