Burbank Police Department Crime Log

A woman told police that her brother threatened to stab her in the eyes, causing “great bodily injury,” police said. The victim believed the suspect would harm her and was fearful for her safety. The man allegedly barricaded himself in his bedroom in the 100 block of North Naomi Street at about 8 p.m. on July 19 and refused to cooperate with police. He was eventually taken into custody without incident. He was arrested and placed on $50,000 bail.

A store employee allegedly assaulted a juvenile with a stun gun after mistaking him as an adult robbery suspect in an incident that happened at 6:16 p.m. on July 22 in the 200 block of East Cypress Street. The employee was positively identified and booked in Burbank Jail for child endangerment. He was placed on $100,000 bail.

A male driver allegedly collided into another vehicle at Sixth Street and Harvard Road at 2:30 p.m. July 24. The man allegedly fled the scene and was found by officers shortly after near Harvard Road just west of Glenoaks Boulevard after colliding into a parking lot gate. The man was arrested for hit and run and driving under the influence and was placed on $15,000 bail.
