Firefighters Take Down Fire at Warner Bros. Studio

The Burbank Fire Department responded to a fire that erupted in a building on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank last Friday, June 30, at about 1:30 p.m., briefly sending a thick plume of black smoke into the air.

The flames, reportedly caused by a blown transformer, were quickly extinguished by fire crews.

After the flames were doused, firefighters responded to at least one report of people trapped in an elevator on the studio lot, where power was down.

No injuries were reported at the scene.
