Burbank Police Department Crime Log

Two suspects were arrested for conspiracy to commit grand theft, a felon in possession of a stun gun, drug paraphernalia and outstanding warrants between Buena Vista Street and Winona Avenue at 10:30 p.m. on June 13.

Officers contacted a male who admitted to having a methamphetamine pipe between Cohasset and Avon streets at 11:20 p.m. on June 13. The male was placed under arrest and booked at the BPD jail.

A male was asleep in his vehicle and arrested for a DUI, loaded firearm and a baton in the vehicle between Glenoaks Boulevard and Naomi Street at 3:34 a.m. on June 14.

Officers responded to a Target for a theft in progress in the 1800 block of Empire Avenue at 9:10 p.m. on June 14. One of the suspects attempted to flee on foot, but officers were able to locate two male suspects, and place them under arrest for conspiracy to commit organized retail theft.

An employee of Burbank Sportscards is in custody for stealing more than $80,000 worth of sports cards in the 1600 block of Burbank Boulevard at 2:55 p.m. on June 16. Additional sports cards and evidence was located during consent search of residence.

An officer stopped a suspect for reckless driving in the 7600 block of San Fernando Road at 7:44 p.m. on June 19. The driver refused to give the officer his driver’s license and intimidated the officer. The driver allegedly exited the vehicle twice when he was told to get back in the vehicle and threatened the officer with force and moved his fist as if he was going to hit the officer.
