The Burroughs High School varsity boys’ volleyball team lost to visiting Crescenta Valley High of La Crescenta, 22-25, 25-13, 25-17, 25-19, in a Pacific League match on Friday.
Senior Chris Lim registered 21 assists while junior Charlie Gerard produced 12 digs. Junior Henry Carlin tallied eight kills while sophomore Benji Ly finished with seven kills.
The Bears previously defeated host Pasadena, 25-13, 25-14, 14-25, 25-16, in a league matchup.
Lim racked up 33 assists, eight digs and four aces while Ly recorded 13 kills. Senior Owen Dixon collected 11 kills while senior Andy Zeytounian had nine kills and three aces.
JBHS (5-7 overall, 2-2 in league) will visit Glendale for a league contest on Tuesday, April 11, at 3:30 p.m. before hosting Pasadena on April 13.
BURBANK
The Bulldogs recently won a pair of thrilling five-set Pacific League matchups over Pasadena, three games to two, and Glendale, 21-25, 25-23, 25-20, 27-29, 15-13. Individual statistics were not reported to the Burbank Leader.
Burbank (8-14 overall, 2-3 in league) will visit Arcadia for a league contest on Tuesday, April 11, at 5 p.m. before visiting Glendale on April 13.
