Roger Jack Lessard

Date of Death

Roger Jack Lessard, 84

Roger Jack Lessard passed away on Saturday, November 26th, 2022 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho after suffering for the last few years from Dementia.
Born in Sheridan, Wyoming in January of 1938, his parents Alfred and Iva moved him to Long Beach, California to help him cope better with his chronic asthma.
A few years after Roger graduated from Marshall High School in Los Angeles, he met Barbara Leishman.  They got married in February of 1959.  They had two children, Mark and Diane and they moved from Glendale, CA to Burbank, CA in 1968.  Roger worked for Western Pioneer Sales Co. in Glendale, CA as a layout draftsman and contract salesman in the foodservice equipment industry for 42 years. He and wife Barbara retired in 1999 and moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ.
Roger’s hobbies were building 8 foot in wing span model airplanes.  He also kept all of the wildlife that hung around their home properly fed.  Roadrunners, Quail, Rabbits, Doves, and an assortment of other birds that frequented their sliding back door for a quick meal never left hungry.  My dad had names for each and everyone of them.
Roger is survived by his wife Barbara of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.  Son and daughter-in-law Mark & Lisa Lessard of Nampa, Idaho and daughter and son-in-law Diane & Ron Weber of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.  He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Kristin, Andrew, Matthew, Allison and Amanda and his 5 great-grandchildren, Alexys, Kylee, Dylan, Ryan and Layla.
