Robert Frederick Flinders was born in Glendale, CA on March 26, 1933 to Frederick Roy Flinders & Elsie Marie (Malan) Flinders.
Passed away March 17, 2023 at his home in Aqua Dulce, CA. of natural causes.
Bob attended Burbank High School & graduated Winter class of 1951. He served in Germany during the Korean War, & served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Western States. He attended college at Brigham Young University. Bob worked at Flinders Insurance Agency when he was not at school or serving finally retired in December 2017.
In 1959 he married DeAnn Rose. They loved Burbank & created a home for their 5 children.
When Bob was not working he was spending time with family. He loved doing yardwork, fishing, reading, photography & his horses.
In 1983 Bob married Denise Lucille DiForte & they were married until her passing July 5th, 1999.
In 2002 Bob married Brenda Sue Moon & was with her until his passing.
Bob loved the Savior & was not afraid to share his beliefs with all he met.
Predeceased by his parents, Sister Elaine Marie Flinders, & Brothers William “Bill” & Louis “Skip” Flinders
Survivors include his wife Brenda Flinders, & children: Jacqueline Flinders Stratton (Scott Stratton), Jeanette Marie Flinders Laslovich (Alan Laslovich) David Robert Flinders (Laura Watkins Flinders), Elizabeth Ann Flinders Jacobson (E. John Jacobson Ill), and Mark Christopher Flinders.
Grandchildren: Steven (Noel) Baldridge, Cameron (Michelle) Laslovich, Rachel Flinders, Ashlee Ann Cox, Elena Jacobson, Michael Flinders and Andrew Flinders. Great Grandchildren: Paytin and Paige Baldridge and Lilly Laslovich. Stepchildren April (Robert) Berge, Rebecca (Andrew) Strebel, Michelle (Bryce) Williams. Step-grandchildren include Carson, Caleb and Jacob Berge, Caden and Liam Strebel and Paige, Tate, Dane and Grant Williams.
