Kenneth Edgar Joseph Lowman, “Ed” as his friends knew him, born September 15, 1940, passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 82. He suffered a massive stroke on July 2nd.
Ed was active in the Burbank community his whole life. He attended Burbank schools and Azusa Pacific College. He made a career as a successful insurance broker where he created many lifelong friends. He thoroughly enjoyed coaching Burbank Viking Pop Warner youth football and watching the boys grow into fine young men in the community. He served in Rotary Club, coordinated many High School class reunions and was an original member of the Toluca Lake Tennis Club where he was actively involved. Ed was also an ardent UCLA football fan/supporter.
Ed was a loving husband, father and friend. He is survived by his wife Debbi, son Ken, daughter Kasey and three grandchildren, Shane, Cole and Somy. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society. The Celebration of Life for Ed will be held on September 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Bible Church, 1101 S. Main Street, Burbank, CA 91506.
