Burbank Police Department Crime Log

Police were called to the scene of a domestic violence incident at 9:15 a.m. on Jan. 25 after a suspect reportedly punched his girlfriend several times after she arrived home from a bar. The man then fled the location in an unknown direction. An emergency protective order was provided for the victim. The man was eventually found by police and placed on $225,000 bail.

A business owner reported vandalism after he received an alert from his surveillance cameras showing a man underneath his work van near Chestnut Street and Victory Court at 5:25 a.m. on Jan. 28. Officers detained the man in the parking lot of the business and found he had vandalized the vehicle and siphoned gasoline from it. Another man was located inside an RV next to the business and admitted to driving the suspect to the location to steal gasoline. The men were arrested on vandalism and drug charges with no specified bail.

Witnesses contacted police after a woman and her mother got into verbal argument in the driveway of their home in the 500 block of Mariposa, which led to the daughter pushing the mother at 11:32 p.m. on Jan 29. The daughter allegedly told her mother and father that she would get a gun and shoot them. Officers later contacted the daughter inside of her residence and took her into custody. She was booked for domestic violence and illegal threats and was placed on $50,000 bail.
