Leaders from Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena joined airport officials to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Hollywood Burbank Airport’s new replacement passenger terminal on Jan. 25.

Following decades of planning, the new 14-gate replacement passenger terminal will be a “new, safer, modern and more convenient passenger terminal at Hollywood Burbank Airport,” officials said.

The 355,000 square foot construction will be completed by October 2026 and will cost a total of $1.25 billion over the next four years.
