John Burroughs High Students Take Broadway

cvr-Burroughs HS Broadway — John Burroughs High School held its “Burroughs on Broadway” event at the school on Oct. 21, featuring performances from the Vocal Music Association students. Many parents, alumni and staff attended the school production, along with state Sen. Anthony Portantino, who presented a certificate of excellence to vocal music teacher Brendan Jennings. That evening, students put on a cabaret-style performance, highlighting popular Broadway musical moments.
