Rite Aid Will Be Missed

It was with sorrow and disbelief that I learned of the closure of the Rite Aid on the corner of Hollywood Way and Magnolia Boulevard.

For many years, Rite Aid has been indispensable to our family. Countless trips with the kids and grandkids for ice cream, checking out the cute/cheesy Halloween and holiday decorations, laughing at the trashy romance novels with my teenage daughter, picking out lipstick colors with my granddaughter and buying snacks for my grandson have been happy traditions and a big part of our lives.

The store employees feel like old friends who will be missed. Speaking for myself, and undoubtedly for many others, Rite Aid’s closure will leave an empty place in our hearts.
