The Burroughs High School varsity football team hosted Pasadena for its Pacific League opener on Sept. 29; the game ended after Burbank Leader’s press deadline and will be included in next week’s issue.
The Bears (4-1 overall) will visit Muir High in Pasadena (3-2) for a league game on Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. before visiting Arcadia on Oct. 12.

Burbank (2-3) will visit Crescenta Valley High in La Crescenta (4-1) for a league game on Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. before hosting Muir High of Pasadena on Oct. 13.
