cvr-alvarez — Burbank’s newest fire chief, Danny Alvarez, was sworn in last week, replacing outgoing Fire Chief Eric Garcia, who retired Aug. 31. Alvarez returns to the BFD from Santa Monica, where he has been fire chief since March 2022.
