Members of the Burbank Police Department participated in the 2023 Special Olympics Torch Run on June 7. BPD received the “Flame of Hope” torch at Riverside Drive and Clybourn Avenue.
The torch was carried along Riverside Drive, Alameda Avenue and it made its way up Olive Avenue, passing City Hall to the Burbank Police station.
The Special Olympics Torch Run is held each year and is carried by 200 agencies over 900 miles leading up to the start of the Special Olympics Summer Games.
