The Burroughs High School varsity boys’ volleyball team snapped its three-match losing streak after sweeping visiting West Ranch High of Valencia, 25-8, 25-12, 25-14, in a nonleague match last Friday. Individual statistics were not reported to the Burbank Leader.
The Bears (3-4 overall) will open Pacific League action by hosting Burbank on Tuesday, March 14, at 6 p.m.

The Bulldogs recently lost a pair of nonleague matchups at home against Castaic, 29-27, 25-20, 25-21, and Chaminade High of West Hills, 25-23, 25-21, 27-25. Individual statistics were not reported to the Burbank Leader by the Burbank High coaching staff.
