Bulldogs, Bears Drop League Games

The Burbank High School varsity boys’ soccer team was recently edged by visiting Arcadia in a Pacific League game, 2-1, as junior Bryan Juarez scored the Bulldogs’ lone goal.
Third-place Burbank hosted last-place Hoover High of Glendale yesterday; the game ended after the Burbank Leader’s press deadline and will be included in next week’s issue.
The Bulldogs (8-6-3 overall, 4-4-3 in league) will visit Glendale on Tuesday, Jan. 31, before visiting rival Burroughs High for their regular season finale on Thursday, Feb. 2.

Burroughs High School junior Michael Vega and the Bears will visit Arcadia for a Pacific League rematch on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 3:30 p.m.

The Bears lost a Pacific League matchup at powerhouse Crescenta Valley High in La Crescenta, 5-1, on Tuesday as sophomore Danny Pascual scored the Bears’ lone goal.
JBHS previously finished a league matchup against visiting Muir High of Pasadena in a scoreless draw.
The sixth-place Bears hosted fifth-place Pasadena yesterday; the game ended after the Burbank Leader’s press deadline and will be included in next week’s issue.
Burroughs (7-7-3 overall, 3-5-3 in league) will visit Arcadia on Tuesday, Jan. 31, before hosting rival Burbank in its regular-season finale on Thursday, Feb. 2.
