John Burroughs High School graduate Charlotte Hobson has made the Bucknell University dean’s list.
The scholar-athlete just completed her first season on the university’s women’s volleyball team, which made the Patriot League tournament for the first time since 2010. The team’s 15 wins were the most in a season since 2006 and tied for the third-most in program history.
Hobson played for coach Edwin Real on Burroughs girls’ varsity volleyball team for four years.
A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition. Hobson is an undeclared major who is expected to graduate in 2026.
