Burbank Police Department Crime Log

Burbank police received a call for service regarding a man who allegedly caused an incident at a restaurant in the 200 block of South Glenoaks Boulevard after staff refused to serve him due to his behavior at about 7 a.m. Dec. 11. According to police, he was reportedly told several times that he was trespassing and refused to leave. He was arrested for alleged trespassing and placed on $1,000 bail.

A man was allegedly observed tampering with vehicles at 1711 S. Buena Vista Ave. at about 11:40 a.m. on Dec. 13. Officers who responded to the scene detained the man, who was being held by individuals there. He was searched and allegedly was found to be in possession of fraudulent credit cards and stolen property.

Officers were called on Dec. 15 at 4:30 a.m. regarding a hit-and-run traffic collision that caused injuries. The suspect allegedly attempted to flee the scene in a vehicle and was stopped at Cahuenga Boulevard and the 134 Freeway. Four adults and three children were found inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested on suspicion of felony hit and run, child endangerment, drug possession, driving without a license and drunk driving. She was arrested without specified bail.

Officers arrested a man at 6:25 a.m. on Dec. 17 after his vehicle allegedly was observed in the middle of the intersection at Glenoaks Boulevard and Alameda Street for several stoplight cycles. The man was asleep behind the wheel when contacted by officers, police said. He was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and placed on $5,000 bail.
