Burbank, Burroughs Win Pacific League Games

The Burbank High School varsity girls’ basketball team defeated host Arcadia, 47-36, in a Pacific League game last Friday, as Karen Casillas posted a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds.
Sahara Jackson poured in 12 points while Nikaela Damasen registered 11 points. Shelby Cribbs scored four points while Rheanna Ocampo and Lauren Navarro each had three points.

Burbank High School’s Lauren Navarro scored three points to help the Bulldogs defeat Arcadia in a Pacific League game last week.

The Bulldogs (8-4 overall, 2-1 in league) will compete in the La Cañada tournament starting with a match against host La Cañada on Monday, Dec. 26, at 5:30 p.m.

BURROUGHS

The Bears defeated host Muir High in Pasadena, 57-36, to remain undefeated in Pacific League play last Friday. Izzy Roderick finished with eight points and seven rebounds, Mariam Fahs and Grace Barton each scored eight points, and Malia Harney recorded seven points.
JBHS (8-4 overall, 3-0 in league) will host the West Coast Holiday Tournament beginning on Monday, Dec. 26.
