Burbank Police Department Crime Log

Officers responded to a road rage incident on Dec. 1 near Olive and Virginia avenues, where a man was observed being drunk in public, throwing a metal bottle at a moving vehicle and refusing to exit his vehicle when officers ordered him to. The man was arrested and booked for throwing an object at a vehicle, resisting arrest and being under the influence in a public place.

A gang unit arrested a man on Dec. 2 for selling narcotics and being in possession of several firearms on the 10900 block of Sherman Way. He was booked for being in possession of controlled substances while armed. His bail was set to $100,000.

Officers arrested a man for refusing to leave the emergency room lobby of St. Joseph’s Medical Center on Dec. 5. A records check revealed the man had outstanding arrest warrants for sexual registrant violations. He was booked for his warrants at the BPD jail.

Officers observed a loaded firearm in plain view of an occupied vehicle’s passenger seat on Dec. 5 near Hollywood Way and Verdugo Avenue. A man was arrested and was booked for carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle.
