I have been a Burbank resident for more than 35 years, and I have been Sharon Springer’s friend and neighbor for over 25 of those years.
I watched most of the City Council meetings. From the beginning, when Sharon led a traffic calming project on our street, I have been very impressed with her skills that lead to positive outcomes. At City Council meetings Sharon is always prepared and has a deep knowledge of the agenda items and makes the best decisions for the people of Burbank.
Most recently, Sharon has taken a stand for protecting the Rancho Providence (Raising Cane’s impacted neighborhood) and Rancho neighborhoods. She is brave and always speaks up.
For example, she has always spoken up about the importance of local control, quality of life and neighborhood protection.
She focuses on goals and bases her decisions on community input, facts, outcomes and achieving those goals. She has visited tiny homes communities with the goal of housing our homeless and connecting them with needed services. She attends board and commission meetings for firsthand input. She is always out in the community and openly shares the connections she makes.
These are many examples of Sharon’s accomplishments and positive representation of Burbank residents.
