Burbank Police Department Crime Log

A Burbank man was arrested for possession of narcotics paraphernalia after police were called at 3:37 a.m. on Aug. 9 regarding a suspicious person on West Riverside Drive. During the encounter, the man resisted arrest, causing injuries to the officers. He was booked for possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest, and bail was set at $500.

Officers were flagged down by a victim at 6 a.m. on Aug 10. The victim stated a man tried to strike him on Sepulveda Boulevard. The victim told officers he was fearful for his safety. Officers located the suspect who subsequently fled from officers. He was ultimately arrested and placed on $30,000 bail.

Officers responded to a theft in progress on Alameda Avenue at 4:50 a.m. on Aug. 11. The suspect fled from officers when they tried to detain her. She was arrested and taken into custody. The value of the stolen items was $4.99.

A woman was pulled over on a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation at 8:15 a.m. on Aug 12. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and for child endangerment and was placed on $25,000 bail.

Police responded to a call at Chuck E. Cheese after two males were reported to be actively fighting. Upon arrival, officers determined one of the males displayed signs of alcohol intoxication, beyond the point that he could care for himself. He was arrested at 4:40 p.m. on Aug 13 for public intoxication and placed on $250 bail.

After officers recovered stolen documents from suspects, an investigation of a Pasadena vehicle burglary was linked to vehicle burglaries in Burbank. Both subjects were arrested and booked at BPD at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 14.
