Burbank Edges Burroughs in Boys’ Soccer Season Finale

The Burbank High School varsity boys’ soccer team defeated visiting Burroughs High 2-1 in its season finale on Feb. 1.

Burbank seniors Bryan Juarez and George Atallah each scored one goal, while senior Hayk Tovmasyan and junior Jose Morales were each credited with an assist. Meanwhile, junior Alexander Loera scored the lone goal for the Bears.

Burroughs finished the campaign fifth in league with a 5-8-1 record (6-9-1 overall), while Burbank was sixth with a 4-6-4 record (8-7-5 overall).
