Burbank Police Department Crime Log

A man was arrested for brandishing a deadly weapon at a Yoshinoya restaurant in the 1200 block of San Fernando Boulevard at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 5. Store employees told police that the man placed a knife on the front counter and demanded a cup to get a fountain drink. He threatened to use the knife on an employee if they did not give him a cup. The employees complied with his demand. Afterward, the suspect left the location. Police later located the man and arrested him for robbery.

A vehicle crashed into the front of a business in the 8400 block of Willoughby Avenue on Dec. 9 at midnight. After exiting the vehicle, multiple suspects stormed the business and stole $70,000 worth of merchandise.

A man and woman fighting in public in the 1700 block of North Victory Place was reported after witnesses saw the individuals pushing each other. The woman was located at 10:08 p.m. on Dec. 11, and was detained after officers discovered she was in possession of counterfeit postal arrow keys, a driver’s license and access cards belonging to other people, and methamphetamine.
