City, Untapped Ventures Team Up for Startup Incubator

In partnership with Untapped Ventures, the city of Burbank’s Economic Development Division debuted a new entrepreneurship program on Dec. 7.

The Untapped Incubator Burbank is a self-serve online program with “world-class playbooks and tools for start-ups and founders to consume and work on at their own pace,” according to the city.

The Incubator seeks to benefit early-stage startups and founders in building successful venture-scale “ready to raise” startups.

Through the program, participants will have access to 10 hours of online content dubbed the “untapped method.” Those who attend the program will also be invited to participate in two group mastermind coaching sessions, both online and in-person, led by George Bandarian, founding partner and CEO of Untapped Ventures.

Participants will receive:

• Access to 10 hours of content created by experienced entrepreneurs to help you in your journey;

• Online and in-person group mastermind coaching sessions;

• Other cool events like a Generative AI workshop in January 2024;

• The opportunity to get funding for your startup, and

• An opportunity to participate in the June 2024 Startup Burbank Pitchfest.

The city will also host several “tech talks” through December, with more events to be announced.

The Burbank Tech Talks are organized by the city of Burbank, Upstart Valley and the Burbank Chamber of Commerce.
