A man was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence after allegedly battering his ex-girlfriend at 6:40 p.m. on Nov. 21. Officers searched the suspect’s person and found methamphetamine. He was placed on $20,000 bail.

Witnesses contacted police after a woman allegedly struck her ex-boyfriend while brandishing a knife at midnight on Nov. 24. She was apprehended by police and arrested for assault and possession of a deadly weapon. She was placed on $50,000 bail.

Officers conducted a traffic stop for vehicle code violations at 9:21 a.m. on Nov. 27 in the area of Buena Vista Street and Winona Avenue. A subsequent investigation of the driver revealed that he was in possession of an unregistered handgun with a round in the chamber and a loaded magazine in his vehicle. Subsequently, he was arrested for carrying an unregistered firearm. He was booked at Burbank Jail. The bail amount was not specified.
