Burbank Police Department Crime Log

Officers responded to a theft call after a man allegedly stole $500 worth of detergent and shoved a store employee at a business in the 1400 block of North Buena Vista Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. on July 6. Officers located the suspect, and he was positively identified by the victim, according to reports. The man was booked for theft using force and placed on $50,000 bail.

A driver collided into a marked Burbank Police vehicle while it was stopped at a light at the intersection of Andover Road and Scott Road at 11:22 p.m. on July 5. Police interviewed the subject who was subsequently arrested on DUI charges and placed him on $30,000 bail.

Officers stopped a driver suspected of vehicle code violations near Hollywood Boulevard and Verdugo Avenue at 3:10 a.m. on July 7. Further investigation of the driver and occupants led to the discovery of a stun gun and narcotics. The driver was a felon and was arrested on weapons charges and placed on $1,000 bail.

Officers responded to a residence in the 1300 block of Edison Drive after a woman requested service when her ex-boyfriend was allegedly drunk in the courtyard of her apartment complex at about 9:15 p.m. on July 9. The man was arrested for public intoxication and was placed on $250 bail.

Witnesses contacted police regarding a woman who was allegedly causing a disturbance at a business near the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Magnolia Boulevard at 10:52 a.m. on July 4. The woman was arrested and booked on drug charges. She was placed on $2,500 bail.
