Burbank Police Department Crime Log

Officers arrested a man after they allegedly observed him inhaling nitrous oxide from a balloon while driving near Glenoaks Avenue and Verdugo Boulevard May 30 at about midnight. The man was booked for drug violations and placed on $1,000 bail.

An attempted burglary occurred at a business in the 4000 block of Magnolia Boulevard at 12:10 a.m. The window of Mercury Insurance was shattered and suspects gained access to the business according to the reporting party. Officers located a suspect, who allegedly admitted to shattering the glass. He was booked on felony vandalism and placed on $20,000 bail.

Police were called to the location of a vacation rental home after the owner allegedly received threats and was robbed by suspects who were posing as renters of the property. The two suspects, who were later identified by their license plates, fled prior to the arrival of police. They were eventually located and charged with fraud and burglary and were placed on $60,000 bail.
