Burbank Police Department Crime Log

The driver of a black BMW struck multiple vehicles on Alameda Avenue and Sixth Street, fleeing the scene. Officers followed the BMW to the area of Sixth Street and Providencia Avenue and detained the driver, who displayed objective signs of intoxication, police said. The driver, a man, was unable to participate in sobriety tests at the scene, and he was subsequently arrested on charges of drunk driving. He was placed on $30,000 bail.

A BPD officer encountered a person outside of their parked vehicle with visible injuries from a domestic violence incident at about 2 a.m. on Dec. 27. The officer located and arrested the suspect of the violence and booked her for multiple domestic violence incidents.

A customer at a smog station headbutted the owner of the business located at 533 S. Glenoaks Blvd. during a verbal argument after his vehicle failed a smog test on Dec. 30. The man then threatened to come back and harm the owner upon his release from jail. He was arrested and his bail was set at $50,000.

Police Officers were contacted after a husband and wife engaged in a verbal argument while dining at Outback Steakhouse at 5 p.m. on Jan. 2. The argument led to the woman attempting to stab her husband with a pen. She was arrested for domestic violence and placed on $50,000 bail.
