Bulldogs Lose at Monrovia; Bears Idle

The Burbank High School varsity girls’ soccer team lost at Monrovia, 8-1, in a nonleague game on Tuesday. Junior Emma Batista scored the lone goal in the first half for the Bulldogs while sophomore Maneh Nersesyan was credited with an assist.
The Bulldogs opened Pacific League action by hosting Crescenta Valley High of La Crescenta yesterday; the game ended after the Burbank Leader’s press deadline and will be included in next week’s issue. Burbank (1-2 overall) will visit Muir High in Pasadena for a nonleague game on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 3:30 p.m.

BURROUGHS

The Bears have been idle since routing North Hollywood, 7-1, in a nonleague game on Nov. 30.
JBHS (1-0 overall) opened Pacific League action at Glendale yesterday; the game ended after the Burbank Leader’s press deadline and will be included in next week’s issue. Burroughs (1-0 overall) will continue league play at Hoover High in Glendale on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 3:30 p.m.
