Burbank Police Department Crime Log

Burbank Police Department officers were contacted regarding a naked woman walking around an apartment complex located on 333 N. Screenland Drive at 12:53 a.m. on Oct. 18. She was located and displayed objective symptoms of alcohol intoxication. Officers arrested the woman for public intoxication and an outstanding warrant. She was placed on $250 bail.

A man reported to the Burbank Police Department front counter to report a crime at 10:50 a.m. on Oct. 19, and was subsequently placed under arrest for an outstanding Glendale warrant. His bail was set at $1,000.

A Home Depot Organized Retail Crime Investigator contacted Burbank detectives regarding unknown suspects staying at the Extended Stay in Burbank at 2200 Empire Ave. At about 9 a.m. on Oct. 20, the suspects were arrested for conspiracy to commit grand theft of copper.

An officer observed an occupied vehicle parked in a no parking zone Cam De Villas and East Tujunga Avenue at 1:10 a.m. on Oct. 22. The driver admitted there were paraphernalia and drugs inside the vehicle. Consent search of the vehicle also revealed tools commonly used in catalytic converter theft. The driver and passenger arrested for grand theft, conspiracy to commit a crime and other drug related charges.

Following a verbal argument, a man struck an unknown victim with a television remote, which resulted in no visible injuries, at an undisclosed location at 4:20 a.m. on Oct. 23. He was arrested for domestic battery and placed on $20,000 bail.

A man entered store and exited the Empire Avenue Target without paying for merchandise at 6:20 p.m. on Oct. 24. He was located nearby with stolen merchandise and placed under arrest. His bail was set at $500.
