The Burroughs High School varsity baseball team earned four All-CIF-Southern Section Division V selections, highlighted by junior pitcher Nick Forrest who was chosen as the Player of the Year.
Head coach Matt Magallon was named the coach of the year after leading the Bears to their first CIF baseball title in the school’s 74-year history.
Senior pitcher Gunnar Nichols and junior outfielder Sebastian Zamora were also selected to the All-CIF Division V team.
