A crowd of Burbank residents, activists, faith leaders and politicians gathered at City Hall on Tuesday to protest a Supreme Court draft decision published by Politico indicating that justices could overturn federal abortion rights granted under Roe vs. Wade. City Councilman Nick Schultz later asked city staff members to draft a letter that the council could vote on in support of a potential California constitutional amendment, which would need legislative and voter approval, enshrining abortion protections across the state.
