The John Burroughs High School varsity girls’ soccer team, which owns a 5-2 Pacific League record (5-6 overall), fell to visiting Arcadia, 3-1, in a league match on Tuesday.
Senior Megan Schmidt scored the Bears’ lone goal on an assist by sophomore Jaylin Turner.
No other games were scheduled on the JBHS athletic calendar or MaxPreps as of the Leader’s press deadline.

The Bulldogs have been idle since dropping their sixth consecutive Pacific League game of the season at Glendale, 5-1, on Jan. 18.
