John Dennis “Denny” Rush was born on May 27, 1950, to Robert and Agnes Irene Rush. He passed away peacefully on January 30, 2024.
He was raised in Burbank, California, attending Burbank schools from kindergarten to high school. He graduated from Burbank High in 1969.
While attending high school, he started working for the family business Rush Machine & Tool as a machinist with his father. Eventually, he took over the business in 1993.
He was one of five children and was preceded in death by Carolyn Rush and Robert Rush Jr.; and is survived by James Rush and Kathleen Barcus.
On January 1, 1972, John married the love of his life, Connie. Together they had two daughters, Michelle and Kimberly. He also had three grandchildren: Cole, Jenna and Tegan, who meant the world to him.
John was a member of the Burbank Elks Lodge and the Burbank Moose Lodge.
John was best known for his sense of humor and one-liners. He was always the life of the party.
John will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and neighbors. He was definitely one of a kind.
