AME Institute Event to Showcase Industry Experts

The Arts Media and Entertainment Institute will make its summer return to Burbank.

From June 26 through 28, the group will host a creative software event, showcasing the biggest names in arts, media, and entertainment.

Eventgoers will network with colleagues and industry partners, train on the latest software, experience panels, speakers, and tours hosted by leading industry professionals.

Since 2014, the institute has offered AME educators a place to immerse themselves in the rapidly changing world of the creative industries. An AME Institute will provide the tools, support, and inspiration one needs to train the next generation of a diverse creative workforce in design, gaming, film and broadcasting, animation, live event production, audio production, and much more.

Each day will kick off with breakfast followed by tours, trainings and sessions.

“Get a chance to mingle with other educators and industry partners at the ‘Welcome Reception’ and don’t forget to stop by the AME Expo to check out the hardware and software suppliers, postsecondary institutions, mentorship or internship programs, workforce development programs, and anyone else who supports building out the pipeline from public education to the creative industries,” said AME Institute officials.

First published in the May 11 print issue of the Burbank Leader.
