The Burbank High School varsity baseball team lost at Corona del Mar 6-0 in its CIF Southern Section Division III opener on May 3.
Colby Bette pitched six innings with four strikeouts, Jake Reyes and Miklo Reynoso each tallied a base hit, and Robert Snyder and Bryant Johnson each walked once.
The Bulldogs finished the campaign fourth in the Pacific League with a 7-7 record (8-15 overall).
