Burbank Police Department Crime Log

Officers on March 18 approached a suspect at Sprouts who was wanted for felony vandalism that occurred the day prior. While placing the suspect under arrest, he punched an off-duty officer and placed a second officer in a chokehold. The suspect slammed the second officer on the ground using force likely to produce bodily harm. The suspect was placed on $50,000 bail.

A man tucked away merchandise from Priscilla’s Coffee into his pocket and assaulted an employee before allegedly leaving with the unpaid items on March 14. Authorities found the man across the street and was arrested after officers found drugs and paraphernalia after searching the suspect.

A person was arrested following a fight outside of Round 1 on 201 E. Magnolia Blvd. on March 16. A woman who was recording the fight had her cellphone and microphone broken because of the scuffle. One suspect fled prior to the officer’s arrival.

A man was arrested near Chandler Boulevard and Frederic Street on March 9 after pulling out a knife and threatening another driver in a traffic altercation. As the other driver pulled off, the man followed and continued to make threats. The man was placed on $50,000 bail.

Authorities arrested three individuals for identity theft, access card theft and narcotics violations following a March 9 traffic stop for vehicle code violations near Burbank Boulevard and Whitnall Highway.

A woman was reported as naked on the patio of California Fish Grill on March 17 and was later arrested after witnesses saw her on the sidewalk next to Popeyes without pants.
