Burbank Police Department Crime Log

A man was arrested after he allegedly broke into the residence of his ex-girlfriend and attacked her and her boyfriend at 4:10 a.m. on Feb. 28. The man fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival, but he was later found and placed on $50,000 bail.

Police were called to Dog Haus, a restaurant in the 3000 block of North Hollywood Way, at 4:45 p.m. on Feb. 27, after a man allegedly threw a sandwich at the owner and struck her when she asked him to leave. Witnesses told police that the man also threw a napkin dispenser at the manager and owner but missed. Police detained the man, who was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and battery. He was held on $30,000 bail.

Police approached a man who they believe started an open fire on a sidewalk on Burbank Boulevard at about 6 a.m. on March 3. Police conducted a record check of the man, which revealed outstanding warrants. The man also found to be in possession of ID cards that did not belong to him. He was arrested for municipal code violations and possession of access cards.
