Burbank Police Department Crime Log

Officers were dispatched to a “bank jugging” and vehicle burglary that had been reported near the I-5 Freeway and Glendale Boulevard at 5:35 p.m. on Feb. 2. Officers located the suspects’ vehicle as it fled the scene. Burbank Police, along with air support, tracked the vehicle to Glendale until a high-risk traffic stop was conducted, police said. Officers located burglary tools, the stolen currency and a police radio scanner inside the vehicle. The victim identified the suspects and vehicle involved in the crime.

Police were called to Costco at 11 a.m. Jan. 30 after witnesses reported seeing a two-year-old boy unattended in a hot vehicle for an extended period of time. A nanny was placed under arrest for child neglect.

A grand theft of a catalytic converter occurred in the 100 block of Isabel Place at 12:15 p.m. on Feb. 3. Police located the suspects nearby and four individuals were arrested for grand theft and placed on $75,000 bail.
