The Burroughs High School varsity boys’ soccer team shut out visiting Burbank 3-0 in a Pacific League matchup on Jan. 12. Senior Joey Earl, junior Alex Loera and junior Dani Pascual each scored one goal.
The Bears recently lost at Arcadia 1-0 in a league game on Jan. 16.
Burroughs (5-6 overall, 4-5 in league) will visit Crescenta Valley High in La Crescenta for a league game on Jan. 23 at 3:15 p.m. before hosting Hoover High of Glendale on Jan. 26.

The Bulldogs suffered a pair of 3-0 Pacific League losses against Glendale on Jan. 16 and Burroughs High on Jan. 12.
Burbank (6-5-4, 2-4-3) will visit Pasadena High for a league game on Jan. 23 at 3:30 p.m. before hosting Crescenta Valley High of La Crescenta on Jan. 26.
